Service Outreach

Service outreach is integral to the Christian life and a part of a student's experience at St. Pius X. Outreach opportunities to assist the poor and marginalized are offered throughout the school year. While students learn about social justice in the classroom, they take what they have learned and go out to serve others who are in need.

Altar Servers

This is a volunteer program available to Catholic students who have made their 1st Communion, in grades 3-8. Children are trained by the parish Deacon.

Liturgies & Prayer Experiences

Students participate throughout the year in the Celebration of the Eucharist and a variety of prayer experiences. Parents are always welcomed and are invited to attend.

Service Projects

Service outreach is the heart of our mission. All students participate in projects for our school and community throughout the year. Some service projects are school wide, such as the Breakfast Bags we deliver monthly to Beans and Bread. Other projects may be done by certain grades or groups. Eighth grade students are required to perform 25 hours of community service prior to graduation.
